For some reason (alcohol) last month I decided I wanted to do a couple of Christmas songs this year. I'm not terribly good at singing, but I love doing it. More than that I love singing for and about my Lonely Yog friends and family.

This year I enlisted the help of the uber talented Angela (Angie in my head) to help me with lyrics and editing my tremulous voice a bit. Neil got in the crossfire and really helped us both writing out the lyrics.

I wanted to go a bit more personal this year (and as I've already said, I'm so sorry for not asking permission ahead of time). I missed a lot this year, and it was a lot of fun having Neil and Angela recount every amazing moment of the Lonely Yogs this year. I'm sad I missed so much, but how incredible it is to know that no matter how long the absence this community will always being there waiting with open, loving, accepting, and tolerant arms.

As we dove into the project I realized Angela was again going to go above and beyond anything I could have every hoped. The lyrics (with the exception of the final verse), and humble voice are mine, but this song truly is Angela's. She did so much more than I was even hoping possible. I love it, her, and all of you so much.

So without further ado, to those who celebrate Christmas, to those who celebrate other holidays this season, and to those who just want something to smile about, we give you a Lonely Yogsmas Carol, a Jason and Angie collab (with Neil the Historian's Apprentice assisting):
